Our customer base consists of both large and small construction companies including:
Tulloch Homes, Scotia Homes, Chap Homes, Morrison Construction, Robertson’s and McGregor Construction.
With our formally acredited association with Network Rails Link-up approved contractors scheme, our client base also includes extensive experience with Network Rails main contractors in the north such as Carillion. To add to our successful client and contract portfolio GF Job have recently completed a number of the Restoration contracts at the Inverness Longman Landfill Site. These projects have been secured as part of a highly successful partnership contract with The Highland Council Technical Services.
With regards to the type of projects and sub contract work carried out by the company G.F. Job have a wide range of experience and expertise to offer within the earth moving, civil engineering remediation/recycling and heavy haulage sectors. The following list of projects provides an insight of our recent contracts:
- 1998, On going client base maintained for highland estates civil engineering and road build and maintenance projects.
- 1999, Clava rail viaduct embankment reconstruction requiring the selection, transporting and placing of over 60,000 tonnes of rock armour.
- 2000, Construction of private housing development infrastructure at Brookfield Inverness.
- 2001, Bonawe Quarry Argyle, production, selection and transportation of 30,000 tonnes of rock armour involving ship loading and placing on Islands and Muck and Rum.
- 2002, Stromeferry rail track realingment following significant landslide along the lochside.
- 2002, Slochd landslip, excavating formation, rock selection, transportation and placement of 10,000 tonnes of rock armour to reconstruct A9 trunk road embankment.
- 2002, Construction of private housing infrastructure for 100 plots at Muir of Ord.
- 2002, Pipe laying contract for AWG Construction as part of the Moray Coast Waste Water Project.
- 2002, Construction of new build waste water catchment system at Lossiemouth for Scottish Water.
- 2003, Construction of private housing infrastructure for 80 plots at Munlochy, Nairn and Kingussie.
- 2003, (ongoing) Upgrading of 27km of hill track to accommodate heavy vehicular access to Corrour Estate. Project included development of rock quarry to produce over 35,000 tonnes of construction materials for ongoing projects. Received annual contract to maintain and upgrade estates roads and infrastructure.
- 2003/4 Longman Landfill site Phase A restoration incorporting over 150,000m3 of material transported, applied as landfill cover, profiled and seeded.
- 2004, In conjunction with S&SE Re-routing and laying of main HV power cable at Munlochy.
- 2004, Ongoing involvement with the re-development project at the Aviemore Highland Resort. Contracts include; ground works, construction of foundations, demolition, pipe laying and all hard and soft landscaping works for the project.
- 2005/6, Corrour Estate, Spean Bridge; new drainage works, on-site quarrying and upgrading of 27km of estate access road.
- 2007/10, Demolition and land remediation work for the re-development of the former oil fabrication yard near Ardersier.
- Ongoing, harbour works and coastal protection projects for the Highland and Moray Councils.
- 2008/9 1.5km of rock armour protection of the sea shore of the former Longman Landfill site in Inverness.
- Site infrastructure works for key housing development throughout the area including: Phase 1 & 2 Auldearn, Leachkin Brae in Inverness, Broomhill development in Muir of Ord.
