From our unique highland based quarries G.F. Job are able to supply a wide range of both high quality construction quarry products; including crushed rock and gravel sub bases, aggregates, dust and sands to the more bespoke decorative products which include driveway chip, granite and schist walling stone, river cobbles and hard landscaping stone.
Located near to the town of Aviemore, our two quarries offer both crushed granite products and sand and gravel materials. With the granite quarry being on the edge of the Cairngorm Mountains, the rock we supply is the unique pink cairngorm granite which produces a very attractive decorative stone which has become very popular in the wider area as a driveway chip, hard landscaping product and dry stone walling material, which has been widely used in the ongoing transformation of Aviemore and is now a well recognised attractive feature in the village.
Located just outside the town of Nairn, Park Quarry is operated in partnership with Tarmac Limited. Having been re-opened again after being closed for many years, the granite products available at the quarry are of very high quality for the use of road construction, structural fill, crusher dust, gabion stone and rock armour. The distinctive red colour also makes it an ideal product for decorative driveway chips, pathway surfacing and rockery projects.
